Young dashing and extremely talented. This is how I would describe Bhushan dada from the time I have known him. Me and my sister Anangha frequently used to visit Andu kakas house in santacruz and Ahmedabad . Bhushan dada being the elder amongst we all always was taking care of us making sure that we are not upto anything naughty. bhushan dada spent most of his childhood at Ahmedabad but soon moved to live with our family when he was around 15 years old. He completed his education in commerce stream and soon after his graduation joined baba in assisting him in our business. So fast was his grasping that he soon mastered the ways of business and carved out an important place for himself in running the affairs of babas shipping company. He practically took over the day to day running of the business and was played an important role during the time when baba was home following a heart attack. He was instrumental in bagging extremely lucrative contracts for the company in troubled times which helped the company to stay afloat during recessionary times. Such was his enigma that often I remember people referring him as babas eldest son as he exhibited quite a few of his qualities , gutsy and aggressive in approach at the same time exhibiting extremely good business acumen.
He also had a huge passion for photography. For hours together he would experiment with his camera and go out shooting randomly , sometimes the surrounding around him other times try his hand at experimental photograph. His camera soon had become his permanent companion wherever he went.
I remember an incident when in my childhood I was obsessed at the thought of owning a bicycle with gears. I dreamt of this all day and night. Seeing my strong desire for a bicycle bhushan dada suggested to me that like an ascetic who chants the Almightys name to please him and seek his blessing , I should also chat the name of the bike which I wanted so that the almighthy in this case baba would see my sincerity and grant my wish. Sooner than later my wish did come true.
I am sure that had his life not been cut short by a fatal unfortunate accident he certainly would have shone brightly and conquered even greater summits in his professional life. His life was like a shooting star short lived but bright and strong , whose presence every one around him took notice of and remember even till this date.
